REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJoy Airports) officially closed Lebaran Transportation Post 2025 which has been operating for 22 days or on March 21 – April 11, 2025 (H-10 until H+10). InJourney Airports President Director Faik Fahmi said that the organization of air transport at InJoy Airports airports is going well thanks to the support of various parties.

“Thank you for the support of all parties so that during the peak season of air transport, InJourney Airports airport can continue to prioritize safety, safety and service to aircraft passengers,” Faik said in a written statement in Jakarta, Monday (14/4/2025).

Faik said that during the 2025 transit period, the number of air passenger movements (departures and arrivals) at 37 airports managed by InJourney Airports cumulatively reached 10.67 million passengers or grew by about two percent compared to the 2024 of 10.46 million passengers.

The peak of the homecoming flow is on Friday (28/3/2025) or H-3 with a passenger number of 563,000 passengers. Meanwhile for peak reverse flow on Sunday (6/4/2025) or H+5 with 598 thousand passengers.

“The growth in the number of air passengers is supported by a number of positive sentiments, including the program to reduce the price of air tickets, which is well responded by the public,” Faik said.

Faik said InJourney Airports supported the airfare reduction program by lowering airport fares, namely the Airplane Passenger Service Charge (PJP2U), also known as the Passenger Service Charge (PSC), and the Airplane Landing, Placement and Storage Service (PJP4U) rates. Faik said the busiest airports in the transit period were Soekarno-Hatta Tangerang (3.55 million passengers), I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali (1.38 million passengers), Juanda Surabaya (938 thousand passengers), Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar (642 thousand passengers) and Kualanamu Deli Serdang (520 thousand passengers). Meanwhile, the total number of flights at 37 airports in the 2025 international transit amounted to 75,486 flights.

During that period the airline operated up to 3,276 extra flights consisting of 3,119 extra flights domestic routes and 157 extra flights international routes.

“The level of passenger occupancy on board (load factor) during the 2025 international transport period is also quite high, i.e. on average it reaches about 80 percent. The WFA program put in place ahead of the airport also greatly helps the spread of airline passenger departures so that the increase in passenger movements can be handled properly,” Faik said.
